I watched this amazing show this weekend about this little bitty girl named Kenadie Jourdin-Bromley. I can't believe how much she has gone through and she is still going strong. You can read her story here. She is now 6. There was an update on TLC last night. Amazingly she is just getting stronger and her vocab is getting better and better as she gets older. They didn't think that she would live past 1 month. I was totally amazed by her story.
Then on National Geo chancel there was this story The World Smallest Girl. Loved this one too.. amazed that I had never heard about this before. She is just darling.. and soo trendy.. she is 16 .. and all of it too.. the makeup, clothes, etc.. soo cute.. but her limbs are bad.. she desperately needs surgery. They drew blood from her with this HUGE needle and here in america they don't do that, I don't understand why they had to do this from such a little person. Why can't they use a butterfly needle on her to get the blood that they need from her. That could make all the difference in the world for her. She desperately needs surgery for her legs but there is not a reason at all why in the world they would have to use that LARGE NEEDLE to draw that blood from her... you have to watch the show to understand what I am talking about but it is just wrong. Someone (A Doctor) from America should help her!!
On the homefront, the weekend was great!! Just lounged around with the boys this weekend.. which was great.. we watched movies and tv together.. those are the best times .. we just talk and hang out.. they really open up to us during times like that.. about life and girls.. it is great.. Bedtimes are different on the weekends.. more relaxed... Thanks to my friend Terri, I started weeknight bedtimes 30mins earlier to accomodate talking, xtra bathroom trips, forgetting things, etc., so we aren't having to yell come 9 pm get to sleep constantly.. by 9pm they are more sleepy, THANKS TERRI!! We find out this week if Chris will be on the A or B team for Football.. can't wait for that.. and football starts next week..oh boy... Boy scouts started yesterday too.. so everything is starting to get busy...

Summer Fun
There have been so many things going on... we have school starting on Monday.. I think we are one of the last schools in the US to start so late.. ugh! But yet I am excited too.. My eldest will be playing football, so this is going to be new to us.. and my youngest is going to be in the band, which again is new to us too... so this year is going to be a year of new things.. going to take some getting use to the schedules.. and the carpool is going to be an hour of here and back home then leave again then back home again then leave again.... yes that is 3 trips for carpool but two runs for PM for now.. Then in a month there are going to be days that I have to be at school after hours or football games... omgoodness there is so much around that is going to change..
Has anyone known of anyone that uses those sports glasses for football, how does that go? or was contacts better??
The summer was great.. we didn't make the AL. trip this year but that is ok.. we did things together.. bowling, camping, laser tag, video games, chuck 'e cheese, shopping.. let me tell you the boys are in their in between stages... they are starting to recognize the clothes that they want to wear from just plan tshirt and jeans.. I want this label, etc.. ugh.. that is such a headache..
We went through the long hair fight this summer, but we won! YAY US!
Boy scouts is starting back up again too so we are going to be busy.. I promise to write more about my experiences through the eyes of the mom of boys... LOL

Week 1 gone
Chris leaves today for camp- i am so excited.. he learns so much!! I started savella. Haven't noticed a change yet. The medicine doesn't seem to have any side effects either. Today my dosage doubled from the last few days, so if there is a change then I will see in the next few days. Mom and I are starting to stress out about Brittney going to Bali. So is Steve, but he won't admit it. We wouldn't be stressing if she was staying in the country, ya know.
The boys are enjoying their summer. Can't believe we have already knocked out one week. It went by quickly. They hate me because they don't get to stay up to ridiculous hours but oh well I am the mom and I make the rules. Steve still has to get up at 4:30am so oh well. I hope to this week take them swimming or to the park or do something. It is suppose to be really hot this week so we will see. Caleb's new thing is Bakugan. He has like 25 of them but of course he wants more of them.
Chase created his first video this week. It is actually pretty cool. It is a promo video for Call of Duty and he did a really great job. It has all the fading out and cool text job...I am really proud of him. If you want to see it let me know and I will send you the link.
I uploaded my first video this week... here it is...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzAUWsG-as8

ranting, talking, blabbering
Sorry I haven't blogged a few weeks, just a lot on my mind... Since Nim's Invitations wasn't making money because of the economy I thought that I would lay off that for a while and focus on just being a mom. Great at that, not my hubby my any means that can take care of everything and make me look like I don't do a thing.. which YES I know that I am truly blessed to have him. So that leaves me a lil bit more time but then I don't want to do anything ya know, like I am lost. Right now Chase and Chris are dealing with allergies that make them just feel like crap, but they are playing games and still wanting to play basketball... that's kept them entertained, so I clean up and there is only so much laundry a person can do, right now I just have socks to be washed. I already did the dishes now just need detergent so that I can wash them. We are paying for so many things right now so that a few certain serious items get taken care of .. like my license.. that's a whole-nother blog in its own.. but thankfully that will be taken care of very soon, I go to get my state id one day this week. Then school gets out this week on Friday and then it is summer.. have to figure a few things out to do with the boys.. Chris has a physical on Monday for football and for boy scouts. He has a summer camp coming up in a few weeks.
I am the type of person to let things overwhelm me before they happen. Like I think too much of something and I get all worked up for it.. really for nothing. .. anyone else have this problem, because I would like to know how to deal with it better.. never had this problem before and I am not dealing with it very well.
So to anyone else out there that is running their own business, do you know the secret to get it off the ground better? Maybe I am just not meant to run my own business, then what am I meant to do? UGH... advice, or just something to say to help me out here? Thanks guys... can always count on y'all to be honest and tell me hey lady you are being stupid and a big whiny ass... yes I know my ass is big, i am working on losing some of that too....

Boy Scouts
I never went camping as a child, I never joined Girl Scouts. So my view on this is totally my own, but I am interested in hearing yours....
He goes to the meetings every week, he was patrol leader his second month in the troop, he has made soo many new friends and he really likes the closeness with the bond he has formed (more than he will admit) He has being camping one a month for close to a year .. and even though when packing he sometimes is soo tired and doesn't want to go, but when he returns he is telling us stories about things that happen all weekend. I love that he comes home happy from the trips and that he has usually met one more person and made one more friend. He loves to help the new troopers that are brand new to all this, and I think that is awesome !!!
I am happy to say "he" is my son. I am truly blessed to have Chris in my life and to be called his mom ... love you son, mom....
